Miriam Rothbart is an entrepreneur with many talents. She started her career in entertainment law before becoming a prominent music and record producer. She established Rothbart Productions in 2018 and is currently producing numerous film projects in Los Angeles and New York.
Aside from that, she is also a member of the Board of Directors at the Institute of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, an art museum located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. She founded the Curator’s Council of the ICA LA, a weekly outing of curators and artists.
STOYA
Actress
What started as posing as a model for a friend has turned into a trademarked name “Stoya” in 2009. Stoya has appeared in Kamizaki Shegun in the project “The Kingpin of Pain”, Dean Haspiel’s Off-Broadway plays, The Pilgrim, and more.
In 2018, Stoya starred in a sci-fi film, A.I. Rising, that has won several awards, including best film, best director and best actor-actress awards at the Belgrade Film Festival, FEST, as well as the Cineplexx Distribution Award at Vienna’s “Let’s CEE” Film Festival.
She has become a big part of the entertainment industry from pornography, writing, and directing her own movie . Her writings have been on regular columns for Vice, The Verge, and Refinery 29. Her published work has been featured on The New York Times, Esquire, The Guardian, and more.
CANDICE KAO
Wardrobe and Set Designer
Candice is a stylist based in Los Angeles. She closely works with fashion blogger Chriselle Lim and has worked on multiple media from photoshoot, short videos, to fashion films. Candice is known for her simplistic aesthetic qualities through her scope of work.
One of her most recent work is with the luxury brand Valentino, “I Love Spike”. Besides working in the fashion industry, Chriselle also styles production sets for editorial, commercial, and fine art. Her work has been featured in numerous magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Self Control Magazine, and more. Some of the clients she has worked with include Essie, Cinq è Sept, La Prairie, 7 for all mankind.
CHRIS CORTAZZO
Executive Producer
With over $5 billion in sales, Chris has been widely hailed for his outstanding production and his market-making opinions, which are sought after by business and financial publications and broadcast media. In addition to his reign as Malibu's premier real estate agent, he has been the number one agent in Malibu and Southern California for 17 years.
Chris lives in Point Dume, where he spends his rare free time surfing, traveling, collecting fine art, and enjoying the company of his family, friends, and pets. An avid philanthropist, he supports many charities that include local organizations like the Malibu Boys & Girls Club and Point Dume Marine Science School as well as national/international charities such as Farm Sanctuary, UNICEF, Operation Smile, and the Elton John Aids Foundation.
DEON LEE
Composer
At the age of 26, Deon secured his first feature film score on the Taiwanese film, 1895, that received a nationwide theatrical release distributed by 20th Century Fox. He worked with prominent figures in the industry such as assisting Emmy Award-winning composer Velton Ray Bunch, recording and collaborating on film scores with cellist Tina Guo (Wonder Woman, Dunkirk), while assisting Golden Globe-nominee composer Christopher Young on The Monkey King as well as on various Hollywood film projects including Tyler Perry’s and the hit TV show, Lost.
Simplicity and lyricism of melodies that are emotionally driven; these are the words that best describe Deon’s powerful and passionate compositions. He earned a Best Music nomination at the International Fashion Film Awards (IFFA) during the world’s largest gathering of fashion filmmakers for his original music on an experimental dance film, Lilith, directed by Eric Chang. He was also the recipient of Best Soundtrack at the Pan Pacific Film Festival in Los Angeles.
MAGGIE MICHELLA
Art Director
Maggie started her entertainment career as an art director in the music industry in New York, working alongside legendary musicians such as Bob Weir from the Grateful Dead and Brandon Niederauer from School of Rock.
In 2017, she contributed her design and aesthetic skill in X-Games ESPN. She was later playing a lead role in multiple films, the award-winning “Monk by the Sea”, the documentary film “Satsuki”, “Dinner is Served”. In 2019, she launched her exhibition that caught the attention of the media worldwide.
Maggie has worked with clients such as PayPal, Slack, D’Angelico Guitars, Glossier, Johnson & Johnson, Proctor & Gamble.
